Primary = 4 hour nap after church.

So. I teach primary in my ward. And today was the primary program in sacrament meeting. It went well. Nothing crazy happened. But I thought I would share some cool quotes I have gotten from these kids over the last few months. These kids are in the 7 year old age group.

Lindsey (saying the opening prayer)- "Please bless us that we can get away with doing bad things. And also bless us that we can be nice like me, like when I dropped the cake, and still gave it to my neighbor anyway"

Jake (out of nowhere)- "I went to China once..............everyone smelled like egg rolls"

Zack ( Explaining to me why he can't have sugar, as he sinks into his chair with a depressed face and quiet tone in his voice) "Ahhhhhh..... everybody always asks, Im sick of telling people why..... Im on a diet for crying out loud, I have ADD... if I have sugar, it will send me through the roof!"

-Side note on Zack. After he said this to me, I was reaching down into my folder to pull out a peice of paper, when I looked back up at Zack, he wasn't there. Appearently, in that 0.7 seconds of taking my eye off of him, he had successfully transported himself up into the window seal and was dancing. Sealing the deal that he was not going to get any candy.

Kaylen (After being asked what the word "wise" means) "Uhhhh... probably to not pee on your parents? Actually, I think I'm giong to pee my pants right now, I need to go for a minute"

Jake ( After being asked what his favorite song was) "The one where you take a knife... and shove it into your eye!"

Haha.. I have a lot of fun with these kids. I have a lot more quotes and stories just from the last little while I have been teaching them, but I'm getting bored blogging. So, maybe I'll put some more up another time.
